Janet and Alan live in Farnham and have worked together as a team since their marriage, far too long ago to mention!  Janet loves to paint watercolour landscapes, especially those depicting dramatic skies and is convinced that anyone given a few instructions can paint.  Janet is also enjoying clay sculpture work and throwing pots.   Well Alan did find a cheap potters wheel!  Janet’s pottery is now available at many of our Craft Shows and this often means that the art side is often put to one side.

Alan’s first camera was an Ilford Sportsman, a gift from a dear Aunt; and his life with the camera had begun. Following  various camera changes Alan now uses Nikon digital cameras for his photography and enjoys capturing anything that appeals.  A scanner and photo quality printer forms the basis for the printed image work we undertake.

We hope you enjoy looking at the paintings and photographs, even though you can never have the pleasure Janet gets painting them or the frustration when something doesn’t work!  Each painting is very personal to her and she loves them all and is often sad to see them go when they are sold; and she likes to think they have gone to good homes.  Of course Janet is thrilled to think that her work is loved by someone else.  Her paintings hang in homes around the world, including Russia, the USA and Europe.  Alan  is delighted by visitor and other photographer’s compliments and comments, all these things add to the pleasure we get from what we do.

Janet and Alan also produce a range of paper crafts, memory books, prints and bookmarks from their artwork, but these items are too numerous to include in detail on these pages.

Janet has extended her skills into the world of pottery which she loves, especially developing the glazes.

We regularly exhibit at craft events, particularly the Alresford Arts and Craft Fairs in the small town of Alresford (between Alton and Winchester) and visitors are always welcome at our home by prior arrangement.

We have setup this website for both new and returning customers who may not be able to reach us directly through our usual craft shows.    However if like Janet you have a dread of all things technical please feel free to telephone us.
